About Broker

"Broker" - Sandon Kennel bred his dam and his sire. I had planned to breed the littermates of his dam and sire but the best laid plans didn’t work out. The owner of his parents, Lisa Baird Ivey, did very little breeding and very little conformation showing due to the activities in her life. Breeding Broker’s parents was not in her plans. At the age 6 & 7, Broker’s parents took matters into their own hands and produced Broker and his sister, Morgan. They came to live with me at the age of 4 months and I named them Morgan & Stanley. At age 6 months, Broker made his debut in the conformation ring and the first day he took a 3 point major. I put a couple of more single points on him but activities beyond my control made it hard to continue showing for a while so I made arrangements to send him to Veleah Siberians in Florida. There his name was changed to Broker and he matured and finished his Championship. In the meantime, situations in Vel’s life made us aware that Broker would not be shown any longer if he remained in Florida. So, Kathy and I discussed the situation and decided to approach Vel with the idea of bringing him back to Texas and he now resides at Apache Run Siberians in Midland, Texas!!!
